The lodge is named after the famed local artist Pacita de Abad, who had the home built especially for her retirement but sadly never got to use it before she passed. Fundacion Pacita is one of the famous, and expensive hotels in Batanes. Tourists can visit the vicinity of the resort, but there should be a go signal from the management. Please take note that there is not a lot of public vehicles in the island. Locals usually use their motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle, or walk towards each destination.
