However, years after the restaurant was shut down for good and abandoned, Freddy was lured into the restaurant's safe room and dismantled by William Afton, who likely took Freddy's haunted endoskeleton out of the costume and melted it down to acquire Gabriel's remnant, which William Afton fused with the endoskeletons of the funtime animatronics to give them life. It is possible but unconfirmed that Gabriel later reprised his role as the group's leader when the amalgamation of the Funtimes, known as Ennard , ejected Circus Baby and took on the form of a Freddy variant instead, becoming Molten Freddy.
