I bred some ovis and leveled up their health and I spawned in a hawk. I was able to get it tamed with 3 sheep but the taming efficiency is low. Is there anyway to perfect tame the hawk or is it bugged out right now? It's not possible to get a perfect tame with every single creature, I don't think it's a bug. But if ur spawning stuff in anyway then why not just force tame one? The Ovis gets the best feeding to efficiency ratio by far. Curious, what are folks putting levels into on the Fjordhawks?

Taming a Fjordhawk takes a fair bit of patience and luck, though. Fjordhawks are usually found in the northwestern part of the map. As the name suggests, the Fjordhawk is a tameable creature native to Fjordur, the region featured in the free expansion of the same name. There are plenty of Ark dinos to tame across Fjordur, including the Andrewsarchus with a mounted turret upon its back, but few will grant you the level of utility that a Fjordhawk can provide. Once tamed, an Ark Fjordhawk becomes a shoulder pet that will retrieve your inventory for you when you die. Never again will you have to worry about running back to your corpse to collect your dropped items, making the Fjordhawk invaluable for a survival game where hours of gameplay can hinge on stuffing your satchel with as many materials as you can find. It will also mark lost satchels and wounded or dead creatures in the environment, which is helpful for both item collection and taming.

The Fjordhawk appears to be one of the more intimidating creatures for its size at first but this is later proven untrue once you earn its trust. While these creatures are not the easiest to find in Fjordur, they make great companions that can be extremely helpful when the time comes. Fjordhawks appear to prefer eating recently killed creatures as food and will follow you around in hopes to benefit from it. The Fjordhawk can detect wounded enemies and you will be able to view an icon that indicates where the enemy is located. This is perfect for when you are hunting your prey and lose track of them, making it easy to pick up on their trail. This makes it perfect to easily loot enemy items when you cannot easily find their inventory after they have been killed. This becomes useful if players will have a hard time getting back to their inventory or if the trip is somewhat tiring. This will allow you to easily track and catch wounded prey, making it easier to take them down instead of looking all over the place for them.
