This article is based on content from the Five Nights at Sonic's Reimagined series and the following information is not canon to the Five Nights at Sonic's story. Like its' official counterpart FNaS 2the game shares many gameplay elements from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, but this game also shares similarities to Fazbear's Return 5.

Five Nights at Sonic's 2 is the second game in the Five Nights at Sonic's series, developed by TheCyVap formerly known as "1ianmario" at the time of the game's first publishing. It would be a substantial improvement to its predecessor, FNaS 1, and would provide a meaningful basis for future games in the series. Like the previous game, the player's role is a newly-hired "nightguard" night-shift security guard who must survive until 6AM as characters from both the Sonic and Mario franchises in the establishment turn evil after-hours. This is the first and admittedly the only FNaSR title I've ever played, and it's been a long while since I did, due to computer-related issues, so I'm speaking purely from memory. The game was pretty great, the graphics were nice, and it played pretty well! It did get a bit diffficult later on, especially on Night 6, but I single-handedly beat the whole game Custom Night challenges not included on the same day I got it, so.. Then again, that might just be me being quick on progression, because the game got really chaotic really fast. It honestly has a pretty similar difficulty element to Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and even the original FNaS2: Several characters to keep track of, everyone frequently and persistently bum rushes you, and everything generally becomes an anxiety-inducing blur of flashing lights, winding the music box, and using the mask. Even so, you speaking to the creator of the game changed up some mechanics, added a little spin on it such as flashing Tails in a camera, though I personally never fully understood his mechanic all that well , and kept it rather unique from the original FNaS2, and I overall liked it.
