I was fortunate enough to attend a good University here in South Africa. A good University meant a good and well recognized degree and a very impressive C. Nobody had told me that it would take me double the time and years to actual get there. I consider myself to be fairly smart, a little above average and a hard worker, but boy did I fail truck loads of subjects. This was no big deal until my peers started graduating and completing their qualifications. I ended up at the bottom of the academic food chain for a good three years. It sucked! The more I worked hard, the more I would fail. I still can not believe it because according to my results this outcome was highly unlikely. I blindly believed. Some days it was an outright lie to myself, but I kept saying it until it was the truth and lo and behold: IT IS!!! I did it. I believed in something that seemed impossible.
