They also discover 9S, having apparently survived the fall and climbed back to the facility before also entering a low-powered mode. They return to the excavation site where 2P rests, storing 9S in another location in hopes to see his side of the story when he awakens. The twins then decide to begin work on the pods, hoping to reverse engineer them and use the technology for their own plans.
