Our registration opens March 1st and runs through May 1st. We host a skills camp for tackle football in June before school is out. Our season runs August to early November. The varsity competitive cheer season has recently come to an end. The Fenton varsity cheer FVC team competed at their last competition on Feb 25, coming in 11th place at the regional championship competition. This closes the chapter of the FVC team, but their story is still alive and thriving. In Feb. As soon as I saw how important it was to them, I was honored to be able to make their dream a reality. The following year, FVC took it a step further. The team completed a season with eight overall first place wins, along with winning the Flint Metro League Championship competition on March 12, , leading them to be given the title of Flint Metro League champions. This also led the team to make Fenton cheerleading history, being the first competitive cheer team at Fenton to claim this title. The team finished out their season by coming in second place at the District championship competition and earning a spot at the regional championship competition for their second year in a row.

Updated: March 15, pm. Fenton competitive cheer athlete Libby Pattan was a first-team All-Metro selection, a first-team All-District selection and a second-team All- Regional pick. The Fenton varsity competitive cheer team finished in third place in the Metro League final standings, leading area squads. The tri-county area had five first-team All-Metro performers and five second-team All-Metro athletes. Fenton also had two second-team selections, junior Kimmy Burkett and sophomore Evie Metcalfe. The Tigers placed third in the first Metro jamboree, fourth in the second one and third in the final one. That earned the squad third place overall. Linden also had one each.
