The series is set on the fictional Craggy Island off the coast of Ireland and is about three Roman Catholic priests and their housekeeper. During the course of the programme, 25 episodes of Father Ted aired over three series, between 21 April and 1 May A television programme offers to interview Father Ted, who goes to extreme lengths to ensure the other members of the clergy on the father ted series 2 do not interrupt his moment in the spotlight. The arrival of rebellious young priest Father Damien Lennon coincides with the theft of a whistle belonging to Mr Benson, the picnic area supervisor. Suspicion, however, falls upon Ted.
