I heard that it is possible to push maxson of the prydwen deck without turning the BoS hostile, is this true or is this false, and if you kill him does he respawn? They should've had a sentinel that was way better than Arthur was, making some sort of questline that involves assassinating Arthur, or just something. There's no idolized, there's no shunned, there's no wild child, it's just enemy and non-enemy. Honestly this is why I prefer the TES mechanics for both character progression and reputation. It's insane to think that Maxson was just a lowly squire and actually getting to see him as both a low tier member and an Elder is extremely interesting. It would be a good twist though, you save him only to have him decide you were wrong and weak for doing so resulting in being forced to do it anyway, fallout 4 kill maxson. As the Brotherhood of Steel finds itself on the verge of success in their Commonwealth invasion, a startling discovery is made of one of their own. A paladin that was considered one of their best, has a secret, and now a hard decision needs to made for their future. Towards the end of Liberty Reprimed immediately after recovering the Mark 28 warheads inside the pre-war bomb storage facility , Paladin Danse tells the Sole Survivor that he will not be accompanying them back until the nukes are successfully transported to Proctor Ingram at Boston Airport , and that they will meet back up on the Prydwen as soon as his work is complete. However, once arriving after being ordered to report back to the Prydwen anyway, the Sole Survivor is suddenly unable to find Danse anywhere. Upon reaching the command deck, a furious and very suspicious Elder Maxson irately confronts the Sole Survivor, demanding to know if they were aware Paladin Danse was a synth. He reveals that the network hack of the Institute 's mainframe yielded indisputable proof Danse is not human, but is actually a missing synth unit with the designation M this was achieved through DNA analysis of those reported missing from the Institute, and cross-checking that against all members of the Brotherhood of Steel, as each member's DNA is already conveniently on file in Proctor Quinlan 's records. The Sole Survivor is then given a choice of medium-difficulty persuasion checks to convince Maxson they did not know Danse's true nature. Alternatively, they can suggest that Danse himself may not have known he was a synth. This is confirmed when the Sole Survivor confronts Danse and asks him why he had not confided in them, and is told that Danse only found out his real life story at the same time as the rest of the Brotherhood.
