Excellent restaurant. Advised when I was booking that my daughter was coeliac. Was provided consistent information from all servers and every dish was clarified to us that it was gf. Almost whole menu was available. Perfect for special occasions. We went for my husbands birthday and he absolutely loved it. It was his first time having sushi since he has been diagnosed. They have a seperate fryer. Food and service was great and would highly recommend for any coeliacs. It does get very busy though so booking in advance is a must. Absolutely loved it. Nearly the whole menu can be done gluten free and they prepare it separately. All the food was delicious. Very trendy cool place. Modern Asian.

What a terrific place to have a dinner with friends. Great selection of cocktails and drinks. Brilliant service, funky fun vibe and the food is impeccably presented and delicious. The service was great too, although it did take a while to get our initial drinks order. Once everything started flowing though there was a constant stream of delicious dishes and drinks to the table. Great experience, will definitely return. Absolutely sensational.

Located in the ever popular and trendy suburb of Mermaid Beach, a short couple of minutes to Broadbeach and only 10 minutes from the central hub of Surfers paradise. The food at Etsu is second to none, with a large variety of Japanese inspired food, one of a kind on the Gold Coast. There are 3 parts to the menu and indeed the kitchen with the raw bar sushi , the main kitchen and the robarta a specific Japanese grill. Most of the food is served with the assumption of sharing with small plates and many options to try.
