Hey there, I recently attempted to purchase content from Battlestate Games, the creators of Escape From Tarkov, and in doing so attempted to use the PayPal Pay in 4 method. The transaction was supposed to be instant, and it was not, however the funds were on hold in my bank account. I contacted Xsolla, the folks who handle the transaction for Battlestate as PayPal support told me it was a merchant issue. Xsolla reported their security system blocked my card, they were able to unblock it reported to me that I should now be able to purchase using any method I choose. I attempted to purchase it again via the Pay in 4 method on PayPal the definition of insanity, right? I've contacted PayPal via the live chat but it took 10 hours for them to reply and said they'd connect me with the Pay in 4 folks, that was 6pm last night Monday, Nov 2nd, and I still have not heard from the Pay in 4 people or PayPal about what the next step is. I even tried calling PayPal directly and it appeared impossible to get a live person to talk to about my issue.
