Over the next decade, Emirates SkyCargo expects to double its existing capacity, add over 20 new destinations to its freighter network, and offer even more flexibility and services to its customers with a fleet mix of over wide-body aircraft comprising: s, Fs, Fs, As, and As. We believe even these additional planes will not be sufficient. The new fleet mix also gives us more flexibility to serve our different customers even better. Emirates SkyCargo is also investing to develop new products, and to speed up digitisation and technology innovation. It is our ambition to lead the market in delivering specialist solutions that are fast, reliable, flexible, and efficient.

Today, we are delighted to announce an investment of AED 3. Emirates SkyCargo has signed a purchase agreement with Boeing for two new Boeing F aircraft, which will be delivered in April and June respectively. Over the years, the Boeing freighter has been a critical pillar of Emirates SkyCargo operations, with the aircraft operating scheduled and charter flights to destinations across six continents. The agreement also includes an option for further Boeing ER conversions at a later stage. The conversion programme for the four aircraft will commence in early and is expected to conclude in with each aircraft taking up to an estimated five months for the process. The converted freighters will provide up to 10 additional pallet positions over the Boeing F production freighter allowing for transport of more low density cargo including e-commerce goods.
