Sounds like you're in key of G major so D7 to Em7 just may work. Unlike switching between Am and Dm, these two chords have no common fingers, so try to visualize each shape before you play it. F m to Em has been giving me trouble of late. What I do is try to get really good at getting right to the chord so I can reposition all my fingers without skipping a beat.
