Audrey Elliott recounts her Ecotrail Valencia experience — she is well ensconsed in the Ecotrail Community now and plans to travel to Copenhagan for the first edititon of Ecotrail there too! We will look forward to that report too. Ecotrail Valencia was my third race in the Ecotrail series. We arrived 2 days before and settled into a nice apartment in the city centre. We were careful to not overdo the sightseeing and opted for a handy e-scooter tour of the city which we booked on Air BnB Experiences.

Because the boredom of the marathon is real. Kandel is only a 17 minute train ride again. The trail encompassed many foot bridges that crossed over what was once a river.

Jump to navigation. After 5 editions of EcoTrail Madrid, there was only one thing left: to improve and diversify our proposal. That's why EcoTrail Valencia 80km is here! The most demanding distance of Ecotrail leaves the town of Pedralba in the direction of the city of Valencia along paths of the Park of the Turia River. The race continues towards Villamarchante and Ribarroja, going through the pine forests of La Vallesa before heading to the finish line, which is located in the Old Bed of the Turia River, in the center of the city, very close to the Exhibition Bridge. This route allows the runner to pass through iconic places of the city such as the Bioparc, the Serranos Towers and Turia Gardens. Registrations Close. March 18 th

Dave - Yeah, I mostly meant non runners. And the doctor is late. Mr Stinky had a strong smell, like he didn't shower for 3 days. Gotta say, I've been fortunate never to have a Mr. The hill was over and I reached the 10k time check. I felt like I was in a western movie at one stage with the amount of blow back from the dirt tracks. No lines for the toilets and I was able to do lots of stretching and dynamic drills. Yup, you can park there or in the lot off of Buckeye drive by the tennis center. Chapter 4 - The future With this result I have finally freed my mind from the marathon. I didn't want to go through an extended period of training though, so the ones from late February to early March were preferred. Steve- Once you get past this bug and get into training and racing you are absolutely primed to follow Dave - Yeah, I just got lazy to configure the watch face, lap time was the same as total elapsed time. I am targeting a big 5k PR in 6 weeks and will be focusing a lot on strengthening my calves and hamstrings in preparation.

Anyway, at around km 21 we turn to the right side and I can see the 31K mark on the other side of the road. The kms tick by and I"m feeling okay. Miles were actually pretty boring and had a very annoying headwind. Your decision to "just run" and not obsess about all of the little things was spot-on and illustrates that in some ways it is a simple sport Looks great in the photo. Pre-race : I had my alarm set for 4am and I normally wake up earlier than that on my own with excitement on race day. There is absolutely NOTHING like the feeling of knowing that yoou are going to get your goal time and feeling like there is still a tiny bit more in the tank!
