A food processor with well-organized parts storage? December 26, AM Subscribe Is there a brand and model of food processor that is a joy in all 3 phases of use : finding all the parts, using it, then putting them all away? I love my Cuisinart cup food processor. It's so perfect especially for making pie crust and shredding cheese. However, there are too darn many bits and pieces. I spend so much time wondering where things got stored. Does anyone have a food processor that has a really well-designed parts caddy and where the pieces fit really well together in a relatively compact space?

Can blades from it be used in the new Cuisinart models? Any opinions on Cuisinart vs. Kitchen Aid for food processors? I am not up for a Robot Coupe. One of the bowl latches on the old unit has broken, and while I can still use the fp, I'm looking at new ones. However, being able to use the old disks in a new Cuisinart could swing me that way. I had thought of getting replacement parts, but at least one site said that "DLC-7PRO" was a model name used for numerous different machines and that not even a serial number could determine if a replacement part would fit a particular machine. I would appreciate any advice you can send my way. With lots of extra blades for 15 dollars! When I got home realized it was missing the main steel blade. I had a DLC at home, blades did not fit.
