There are many things you should do before facing Calamity Ganon. There are several east passage botw to approach Hyrule Castle. Our walkthrough takes you on a path that offers the least resistance and backtracking. As a bonus, it also allows you to enter and exit Hyrule Castle easily.

Inside the entrance of the Passage are Wooden Boxes and Barrels , which can be broken for supplies. Link can use a Mine Cart to traverse through the tunnel. Further along in the East Passage is a room containing a Cooking Pot. A Stone Talus Rare can be found in the chamber where the rails end, beneath a vertical tunnel shaft. The shaft itself continues into a tunnel leading north, connecting to a break in the southern wall of the first floor of the Library. However, this gap is filled by Malice connected to a Glowing Eyeball , which Link must defeat in order to progress further into Hyrule Castle.

Hyrule Castle has become the stronghold of Calamity Ganon. You must go there to destroy Ganon and bring peace to Hyrule. Before approaching Hyrule Castle, it might help to activate Central Tower so you can see Hyrule Castle and the surrounding areas on the map. It is relatively easy to skip most of Hyrule Castle and go almost directly to the Sanctum where Calamity Ganon awaits, but Hyrule Castle is full of treasure, so you might want to explore it. It is your choice.
