A man has died and three others have been hospitalised following an incident outside a Scots football stadium.

On the 16th February , peacefully at Dumfries Infirmary, surrounded by his family, Ian Paterson McLaren Meldrum, aged 91 years, of Auldgirth, beloved husband of Liz, dearly loved father of Liane, Marc, Celena, Rucelle and Elliot, and a much loved father-in-law, Papa, uncle and friend. The shooting was reported just before 11 a. Police reported five kids were shot, including a 3-year-old girl who was murdered, at a home in Dumfries Wednesday. Investigators have revealed the victims who survived are all teenagers and one was dating the man now under arrest. According to Prince William County Police, once at the scene, officers found a year-old girl who had been shot outside a residence in the area. Police then entered the residence, and once inside, they found four other victims — ranging from 3 to 16 years of age — who had been shot. Investigators said the 3-year-old girl who was also inside the home died as a result of being shot. The 3-year-old's year-old brother who was in another area of the home was uninjured.
