Any Dark Souls fan will immediately recognize the "onion knight" as he gets stuck in familiar situations to the original game. His questline is one of the most important in the game, and forgetting to do it will result in players missing out on some great items and the entire Catarina Armor Set. Siegward is also one of the most helpful NPCs and will assist players in multiple fights one of them being Yhorm the Giant. Here's a quick guide to completing his quest. Players will first meet Siegward as they make their way out of the Undead Settlement. He arrives on an elevator coming from where the Road of Sacrifices how he missed the Boreal Knight is a mystery , and will be confused about the elevator and why he can't seem to raise it. Players need to lo wer the elevator Siegward entered on to get the other platform to appear. Ride the elevator up and then ride it back down. Jump onto the ledge about halfway down where Siegward's dialogue of "Hmm" plays, and walk outside to find Siegward on the ledge and a Fire Demon below. Run down and fight the demon. Siegward will assist the players until it is defeating or he is killed. Once the demon is killed, talk to Siegward to get the Siegbrau and the Toast and Sleep emotes.
Brakkis 7 years ago 1. Hook left and start making your way up the staircase. I know that voice.
Siegward can first be encountered taking a two-stage elevator up from the basement of the church in the Undead Settlement. He tells the player that he is trying to figure out how to get to the top of the tower, in order to speak with whoever is launching the giant arrows , but the elevator only goes down to the basement. Once the player takes the elevator in either direction, Siegward will relocate, having solved the mystery of the elevator with the player's assistance. When the player is traveling between the ground level and the top of the tower, Siegward can be heard pondering during the descent, indicating that he has changed locations. There is a hidden platform that can be accessed by jumping off the elevator as it travels between floors, which leads to an upper level of the Undead Settlement. Siegward can be encountered here, sitting on a ledge observing the Demon off in the distance.
Special brew of Siegward of Catarina. Perfect for travel in its jolly barrel mug. Restores HP and temporarily boosts frost resistance. Leave it to Siegward to discover a drink that even an Undead can enjoy. Perhaps his long years spent Undead have left him wanting to drain a cup or two and revel as if he were still among the living. Didnt know it was selled in granny. I wonder what this tastes like It's described as something even an Undead can enjoy, so is there something in it that living people wouldn't enjoy drinking? Character actually gets drunk when using this item. Look at the border of your character when you drink it, you can see the blurry effect.

Second encounter, outside the tower. Topic Archived. Is it bad to infuse in this game? Step 5: To get to Siegward's cell door, head to the Profaned Capital bonfire area. Alluring Skull works on him. Players will run into him on the natural progression route for the area just past the sewers, where he will be making some much-needed Estus Soup that players can enjoy. The wiki says he should be in the dungeon even if I skipped him in the kitchen. Players will first need to progress through the area and open both sets of giant doors. I will say though, 8t makes plenty of sense for both men to behave with a jubilant esteem that Catarina is known for, but with how Siegward behaves like a bumbling fool who doesn't know what he's doing, I think the writers for DS3 were under the assumption that every knight of Catarina behaves that way, which is such a middle school level misinterpretation it's unbelievable. Haven't seen it "Oh, yes, I see I go take down Aldrich. So who is his boss well because it is the second game and dark souls 3 is the forth then it might make sense if yormth was his boss because he says "old" friend so maybe yormth is the leader of catarina but how could he mistaken a giant with a human. Well, it's too late now. My guy, I'll be your new promise.

I restarted the account because of that. I'm sure you remember the "absolute giga-chad character" that exists in your head. It seems I'm in your debt once again. Attacking the Demon. Start a Wiki. No, I think not. Pollux84 7 years ago Step 6: After saving him from his cell, upon entering the fog wall that leads to Yhorm the Giant , a cutscene will trigger with Siegward walking along side the player into the boss arena. Until we meet again, comrade! Where is his cell in Irithyll Dungeon really? He tells the player that he is trying to figure out how to get to the top of the tower, in order to speak with whoever is launching the giant arrows , but the elevator only goes down to the basement. So between ds1 and ds2 passed thousands of years and immesurable amount of kindoms rose and fell, so many that noone even remembers their name except dranglic and after that also some time passed between ds2 and ds3 and we still have Catarina knights there. I've failed, in everything I will say though, 8t makes plenty of sense for both men to behave with a jubilant esteem that Catarina is known for, but with how Siegward behaves like a bumbling fool who doesn't know what he's doing, I think the writers for DS3 were under the assumption that every knight of Catarina behaves that way, which is such a middle school level misinterpretation it's unbelievable. Come with me we have a fire to extinguish.
