Double critter nation

First if all… We got this after alot of research in anticipation of a new pet.

The ferret nation is a great product and so therefore we created another version of it but with different pets in mind. We took advice from our friends in rat , chinchilla and other small animal clubs and as a result we would like to present the critter nation. The design of the critter nation has many of the same benefits as they ferret nation but it has slightly closer mesh. The reason it has closer mesh is to prevent the smaller animals from escaping. The Midwest critter nation requires no tools to put it together and assembling the cage therefore is really easy! The design uses interlocking panels to securely lock the cage panels in without needing screws , nuts or bolts.

I highly recommend this cage for small animals, even with the wonky doors and some bent pieces. Added to Cart. I have to pull on the door times to ensure it is really locked before leaving the area, double critter nation.

Now for the explanation of only 4 stars; The box came in great shape, opening it was difficult, especially if you want to make sure that if there is something wrong you can return it. Contrary to not needing tools stated on the box, that is a LIE! The instructions are simple to understand. The metal can scratch when putting together, needing tools to "bang" in place should be listed in the instructions. Lastly is the quality control, If I didn't need the cage as fast as I did I would attempted to get the door panel replaced. I highly recommend spending the money or if you can get a deal on this do it, for the piece of mind and quality its worth it and you pet will love it too.

I have only 2 complaints — 1 Bedding tends to make a huge mess around the area. The cage is huge and leaves plenty of room to accessorize — the underside of the shelves even have bars on them, despite the shelves being solid, so you can hang light-weight items like hammocks or small bird toys on the underside of the shelves to entertain your pet!
