No doubt that both animals are highly intelligent. There is some special aura around them, even if you just draw them on paper. Some people still have a tendency to compare dolphins with sharks although we all consciously understand that dolphins are totally different species. My guess is that this is caused by similarity in shapes of the dorsal fin and pectoral fins AKA: pectoral flippers If you could see only the tails of both; dolphins and sharks, the difference would become clear immediately. When a shark swims below the water level you can easily see both dorsal and caudal fins at the same time. Dolphins can show only dorsal fins if they swim right below the water level.

When Winter was only months old she was caught in a crab trap and suffered major injuries to her tail. As a result of this she had to get it removed. Kevin Carol from Hanger Prosthetics saw Winter and he knew he had to do something to help her so Kevin and his team rose to the challenge and soon they created a prosthetic dolphin tail for Winter. She then became the 1st sea creature in history to use an artificial limb! Winter is now flourishing at Clearwater Marine Aquarium CMA and she has such a positive attitude which is so important to anyone who is faced with a difficult challenge! Dolphins are popularly noted for their intelligence, grace, playfulness, and friendliness to humans. In this easy, step-by-step tutorial, you will learn a easy way to draw a dolphin.
