When I had to opportunity to build a bed frame for My Green Mattress I jumped into action and got the saw dust flying! Now, lets get to the build!

It started about a year ago. My wife and I were looking at hand made furniture and fell in love with a bed frame made of cedar. It was sanded and "rustic" meaning log form. So I told my wife that I could make it. And so, six months later, I started the project. The rest was hammer, chisel and hand saw. My old bed was a queen and I stained it Early American. I have since fallen in love with Briarsmoke and we have been wanting to upgrade to a king mattress so, it was a no-brainer!
