While equipment and level can have the same impact in this game as those, the sheer choice of options and ways you can succeed - or fail - at acquiring gear and levels is a lot broader than your atypical action RPG title. You will also soon realise that if you had a tough time at the start, you will get past the hump eventually and things will smooth out but also the difficulty will quickly shoot back up. In this section we will round up strategies that assist you in ways that allow you to thrive or overcome the difficulty hump early on, and then later on in game too. Mostly though, hopefully this section will resolve the majority of headaches and discouraged first-timers. For example you may not do so well as a summoner or hybrid class right off the bat, but this quickly changes as you get gear and some points to invest in the attributes and talents you need, as well as get some level 2 skills at level 4. Posts: Tactician Mode can not be changed once selected. The tactician mode is pretty hard. Explorer Mode is for those who enjoy a good time and not a hard one. That being said this is the only mode that really lets you get away with badly-equipped characters in tandem with non-synergizing character builds, bad builds, and bad strategy. No NPC alterations. Unfortunately, some of the difficulties can be, well, difficult, even for those used to playing similar-style RPGs. The easiest way to finish honour mode is a party with two elven archers.
