Scrapadactyls is the second episode in the animated series Dinotrux, which is a perfect combination of dinosaurs and trucks. The episode revolves around the main character Ty, a Tyrannosaurus Trux, and his friend Revvit, who is a Reptool, as they attempt to rebuild their village while also protecting it from the Scraptors — a group of villains made up of small, mischievous creatures. The episode begins with Ty and Revvit on a mission to find metal scraps to help rebuild their village. However, they stumble upon a group of Scrapadactyls, which is a tribe of pterodactyls who are also scavengers and steal metal scraps from others. In a series of events, the Scrapadactyls take away all the metal scraps Ty and Revvit collected, leaving them with nothing.

Dinotrux is a computer-animated web television series. It is based on Chris Gall's illustrated children's book series, which features a fictional prehistoric world inhabited by hybrid characters that are part reptile and part mechanical tool referred to as Reptools. During the course of the series, 78 episodes of Dinotrux were released over eight seasons, concluding on August 3, Set in the Mechazoic era of a prehistoric world populated by hybrid dinosaur-construction vehicles called Dinotrux, and hybrid reptile-tools called Reptools, Two best friends, Ty, a Tyrannosaurus Trux, and Revvit, a Reptool, must team up with other inhabitants of the world to defend their community and their work from an evil T-Trux, named D-Structs. Meet Ty Rux and his buddy Revvit as they join forces with the giant Dinotrux team that are half dinosaur, half construction truck and full-on fun! When Revvit and his Reptool friends venture out of their ravine, the Dinotrux band together to save them from a flock of savage Scrapadactyls. The Dinotrux builds a garage where the Reptools can be safe, but D-Structs tries to thwart their efforts by pitting them against one another. Ty Rux leads the Dinotrux on a nighttime raid to rescue Ton-Ton who's been snatched by a pack of Scraptors and taken to their hive in Scraptor Valley. D-Structs traps the Dinotrux in a deep sinkhole pit — but he overlooks tiny Revvit, who comes up with a plan to help his much - bigger friends. Just as Ty Rux welcomes Garby, a loud and smelly Stegarbasaurus, to the crater, Revvit disappears and the gang embarks on a dangerous rescue mission.
