I've just learned that salt water can loosen diamonds - I always wear my diamond wedding band and studs; however, after hearing this I'm considering wearing some Diamonique pieces that I purchased from QVC. I'm wondering though, if these pieces will turn cloudy in the salt water. Anyone have any experience with these? That makes no sense. There is no chemical compound in salt that would make your diamonds get "loose".

The gift of a diamond is one many women long for, but one that many men can't afford. The alternatives are less expensive gems, like sapphires or rubies, but these don't carry to the same social and cultural weight. Rarely does the blushing bride-to-be show off a new sapphire engagement ring. The only solution to this sensitive situation is finding a double for the diamond. That double comes in the form of the humble Diamonique. Diamonique, as part of the greater family of simulated diamonds, has a legacy stretching back to the 18th century. The quest for a readily available, inexpensive alternative to diamonds has fascinated jewelers and aficionados since the baroque period.

With so many options available, it can be difficult to determine which brands are trustworthy and which are just trying to trick you into buying their products. One brand that often comes up in the discussion is Diamonique Jewelry. Diamonique Jewelry is known for its affordable, diamond-like stones that are designed to mimic the look of real diamonds. The brand claims to offer high-quality jewelry at a fraction of the cost of genuine diamonds. But is this claim too good to be true? Many consumers have raised concerns about the authenticity and durability of Diamonique Jewelry. Some customers have reported that the stones in their Diamonique Jewelry have fallen out or lost their sparkle after just a few wears. Others have questioned whether the stones are truly as diamond-like as the brand claims.
