This is pretty darn amazing that they've built essentially some kind of cheat system into the raid and they've hidden hints regarding these "Wishes" all over the world of Destiny. Move through the cavern here and make your way to the entrance that leads to the very first boss encounter in the raid. You can jump across the water here, to the right, and land on a ledge. This should allow you to jump up to another ledge above, and then you can crouch-walk through a small tunnel and jump over to another landing on the left.
