December 12th, The other day I finished work on my laptop as normal. I didn't shut it down but closed it and I'm assuming it ran out of charge as it was extremely low. The next day I plug it in and find after a while it won't turn on. What's even stranger is that the charging light intermittently flashes when it's not even plugged in. Every 20 seconds or so while I have it plugged in, it sounds like the fan starts up and stops, but the laptop itself never turns on.

If that does not work then plug in the adapter and watch to see if the adapter light turns off. The next day I plug it in and find after a while it won't turn on, dell p147g. If it is a short, I have no idea what caused it as it dell p147g been dropped or splashed with water or anything.
