Breath of the Wild. Dugby Goron Hot Springs. Talk to Dugby during the day while he is sitting in the spring in the Goron Hot Springs to start the quest. At the nearby overhanging cliffs, climb all the way to the top of the middle cliff. Head towards the tallest peak of the cliffs, and wrap around to the east side. There will be a breakable rock wall that is a different color and texture than the surrounding stone. The Drillshaft will be resting there.

Spoiler warning : Plot or ending details follow. Dugby is soaking underwater when he speaks to Link, causing his speech to be garbled and sound like gibberish. However, if Link returns to the Hot Springs at night, Dugby will be on land sleeping and Link can hear him talking in his sleep and giving clues such as "The treasure Both clues together reveal that the treasure is located atop the lava falls along the path leading from the springs to the Bridge of Eldin. Link must head the top of the path middle lava fall, then search around the nearby small peak for a Weak Wall destroyable with Remote Bombs or certain melee weapons capable of breaking Ore Deposits in a single hit. After breaking down it, Link will find a Drillshaft behind the wall. Link must then return to the Hot Springs and show the Drillshaft to Dugby to complete the side quest. If Dugby is sleeping, Link must wait for his awakening. Once Link says he found it, Dugby reveals that he had hidden the Drillshaft, and once checked, he eventually figures out that Link was responsible for the noise he heard when he was breaking down the wall. Dugby is impressed and allows Link to keep it. If the Drillshaft breaks, it will occasionally respawn in the same place and Link can grab the new one. It is only found once in a Treasure Chest so it is possible to obtain it before starting the quest.

The treasure, a Drillshaft , can be found hidden beneath a rubble of stones over a lava fall to the east of the Goron Hot Springs , which can be uncovered by using a Remote Bomb.
