Funds raised by the Deaf Lottery helps individuals like Deaf artist Gonketa, a significant name in the Australian Deaf community. His art is well recognised and has even been featured on billboards. At the end of Deaf Connect supported him to produce an extraordinary experiential art exhibition in regional Victoria. The exhibition offered a cultural exchange, and an immersion into the Deaf experience.
