These coloring sheets offer a nice, large coloring page, along with a corresponding Bible Verse at the top of the page and some handwriting practice at the bottom of the page. This is the 3rd coloring sheet in our Bible Heroes series. Our plan is to alternate male and female people from the Bible. That is why I included so many references on the Moses page to God himself. The large illustration shows a young shepherd boy David, he is marveling at the goodness of God toward him. The caption is from 2 Samuel In the scene, David is standing with a sling and three small stones in a wilderness scene. You could imagine this as one of the moments in his life where he practiced the skills that God would one day use in battle to defeat the Goliath and save Israel. Sunday School children will enjoy this coloring sheet.
