They are smps amps so using till now linear ones i am a little suspicious. Thanks in advance These old timers are built to last, over the years I've carried out many repairs to the cs range of amps and once there checked over they will keep going.. The one you have there is able to be bridged for w into 8 ohms. Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere. These 'S" range have the same amp circuit as the original CS They have a switched mode power supply, which can be a weak point I have one of these in bits ATM. These are hard working amps giving more than there rated power..

Insert quotes…. Swapping out the whole driver board is not impossible either. Definitely fix the hiss - upgrading the op amps and cleaning up the input stage goes a long way.

I will try to avoid repetition, but I really appreciate the contribution of all the relevant CS mods. In bridge mode you get over w plenty for any sub at 8 ohms only!
