This unique take on a basic flip flop offers enough traction for a quick scramble down to the river and enough comfort and support for short walks around the park. While the Kadee II are far from the most comfortable in our test suite, they perform surprisingly well for what is essentially a plastic flip flop. There is no break-in period needed and they are super flexible. They are thin and lightweight, making them easy to slip on and off. There is a small amount of contour on the footbed, but the shoes run a little small, so size up if there is any uncertainty. While the Kadee is comfortable for what it is, the plastic flip design cannot measure up to the others in our test suite. It doesn't form to your feet over time, meaning that what you get out of the box is what you get for the lifetime of the shoe. The toe post is also a little hard which can be irritating on longer walks. This flip flop is best used for short walks, gardening, and other activities that don't require much distance. The Kadee II is not the most supportive flip flop in our test suite, but it gets the job done for shorter outings.
