Hello everyone. I have a crocheted winnie the pooh of love for the cute little yellow bear and was as pleased as punch when I was asked to make a crochet Winnie the Pooh for a friends daughter who is also called Winnie. At this point the head will look a bit like a big yellow upsidedown lightbulb, trust me once the snout, nose and ears are attached it will look fine.
For me, Winnie the Pooh is a comfort character that always makes me smile. Growing up, my childhood room was adorned with these furry friends from the Hundred Acre Woods. Pooh and friends danced along the wallpaper of my tiny room, inviting me to join them. My bedspread was a soft hug of clouds and my friendly yellow bear.
