In the same episode, XANA pretty much hands a backdoor recovery module to the Lyoko Warriors on a silver platter when he teleported William as a specter, allowing them to save William once and for all. Aelita's powers revolves around creation, while William's revolves around destruction. He isn't present when the Supercomputer is shut down, but he seems to have at least managed to return to being on civil terms with Yumi.
