The mission of the Clemson University Interfraternity Council is to govern, to serve, to represent, and to promote, with the highest standard of integrity, its member fraternities. We exist as a resource to facilitate the growth and development of fraternity men in the areas of personal and fraternal responsibility, leadership, scholastic achievement, civic engagement, and brotherhood. The council fosters interaction and collaboration among its organizations through student development, social activities, community engagement and service initiatives. MGC is an umbrella council for 4 multicultural Greek-letter organizations. Our goal is to foster a unified multicultural community, to promote scholarship, service, respect, unity and cultural awareness. Our students seek to engage the Clemson community and educate them about the cultural diversity they bring.

New students going through recruitment will move on-campus August 15th. When organizations are planning to conduct Membership Intake, many of them will host clemson ifc interest meeting in which the criteria for membership is explained. When a student chooses to join a fraternity or sorority, they will join a chapter, and each chapter is governed by one council. At Clemson, there are four councils each with a unique recruitment process. Students interested in participating in an Interfraternity Council fraternity or a Clemson Panhellenic Association sorority must complete the online registration process, which can be found on the specific council's website. These students must also attend a recruitment orientation meeting that occurs the week of the recruitment process. Students interested in a National Pan-Hellenic Council fraternity or sorority or a Multicultural Greek Council fraternity or sorority must also attend an orientation meeting hosted by these specific councils. Clemson fraternities and sororities are student led organizations that enhance the student experience inside and outside the classroom. We provide excellent leadership, scholarship, service and social opportunities and better prepare members to make significant contributions beyond the undergraduate experience. The Pillars of the Fraternity and Sorority Community Award recognizes fraternity and sorority alumni who have made significant contributions to Clemson University, their fraternity or sorority at the local, regional, or national level, their industry, or public service. During the spring semester, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life worked with the presidents of the fraternity and sorority governing councils and chapters to develop a long-term funding model that will be supported through a Fraternity and Sorority Life Fee.

Delta Zeta. The social experience is an important part of the fraternal experience and chapters prioritize providing safe environments for these experiences. Although all IFC fraternities may have the same general framework for success, each chapter offers unique experiences that all members to find the best environment for them to thrive and find success. A Pi Chi is sorority woman who has disassociated from her own sorority throughout the summer and during the week of recruitment so she can be an objective representative of CPA. All NPHC fraternities and sororities also require a certain amount of credit hours prior to joining varying from 12 - 36 credit hours as determined by the fraternity or sorority's Inter National office. Chapter socials, sisterhood and philanthropy events will help you get to know your sorority sisters as well as members of other fraternal organizations. Be yourself and express yourself, our members want to get to know who you are. Some organizations conduct intake each semester; others only do so once a year. If you choose to skip events, you will be removed from recruitment.
