Back to Clarendon Dental Spa. Displaying 11 to 19 of I have been a patient here for about 10 years and received a call today to book a hygienist appointment. I enquired when my last check-up was they usually let me know when a check-up is due and as it was in I asked to book. I was told that I would need to find another NHS dentist if I wanted a check-up as they are only taking private patients. I asked how long it was going to be for and they could not give me a time scale. I can book as private but it will be over double the cost.

We carried out this announced focused inspection on 20 April under section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act as part of our regulatory functions. We planned the inspection to check whether the registered practice was meeting the legal requirements in the Health and Social Care Act and associated regulations. The inspection was led by a Care Quality Commission, CQC , inspector who was supported by a specialist dental adviser. Clarendon Dental Spa was situated in central Leeds. However, a fire at the practice during the summer of has rendered the dental practice unusable. As a result, services were moved to four other dental practices in the Leeds area where dental treatment rooms are currently being rented and services delivered by staff from Clarendon Dental Spa. The provider hopes to move all services back to one location later in During the inspection we visited all the sites. The dental teams included two dentists, one orthodontist, one dental hygiene therapist, eight dental nurses including one trainee, one decontamination nurse, a locum dental nurse and the practice manager. My extraction was done promptly but there was an element of patience too and were checking to make sure I was OK throughout.
