Number 4 was the number worn by Max Engle who passed away after sustaining a traumatic brain injury. All would have understood because picking up the pieces following something so shattering can feel impossible. But during its darkest hour, the Bulldogs chose to shine a bright light on their teammate, friend and leader. They decided to keep playing, dedicating the season to Engle.
