The Chipettes are a fictional group of female singing chipmunks BrittanyJeanettechippettes, and Eleanor chippettes appearing on the show Alvin and the Chipmunks in In this and related materials, chippettes, The Chipettes served as female featured characters, starring in 52 episodes five solotwo specials, and five movies.

They are based on their original characters from the Alvin and the Chipmunks. Alvin and the Chipmunks was first appeared in the 's before appearing in their first debut TV Series in 's. They later returned in the 's TV Series featuring The Chipettes first debut, then they renewed in the later series in to it's spin-off's TV Series in Both the Chipmunks and the Chipettes were created for the musical medium, and later crossed over into cartoons. Charlene was depicted on the album cover as having a long, golden blonde ponytail, and seems to have been the basis for the later character of Brittany. Beatrice Miller is the neighbor of Dave Seville and The Chipmunks who becomes the caregiver for The Chipettes once it's discovered they were living without a parent. She has difficulty transitioning into a mother figure for the girls as she initially treats them as babies and is a bit old-fashioned. Though she at first believes she isn't the best person to take care of The Chipettes, she grows to love and appreciate their company. She also appears several times in the television series as The Chipmunks' baby-sitter or their driver. Miss Miller is shown to be dangerous in a car and the boys are usually terrified by her driving. She is seen in multiple episodes speeding, swerving across the road, and hitting objects such as fire hydrants and light poles.
