This morning I stretched, long and deep. Stretched away some of the pain and anxiety from this few weeks. I stretched, so that I can take a break from trying to process the injustice that has been happening in this world. Stretched to ease the feeling of helplessness and anger that has been consuming me, leaving me crippled to do much, and guilt for moments of being happy, and shame for wanting to celebrate anything good that came my way. I stretched, hoping to forget for a while, of the lives that is lost, lives that continue to be taken away, hoping to find a balance in my life between the grief and the need to refocus back on my own life. I stretched, to give me some strength and courage to look ahead again. Had to relearn to detach, so that I am able to survive living in this world of outrageous imbalance of human rights.
