We carried out this announced comprehensive inspection on 7 November under section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act as part of our regulatory functions. We planned the inspection to check whether the registered practice was meeting the legal requirements in the Health and Social Care Act and associated regulations. There is step free access to the practice for people who use wheelchairs and those with pushchairs. Car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, are available near the practice. The practice has made reasonable adjustments to support patients with access requirements. The dental team includes 4 dentists, 3 dental therapists, 1 dental hygienist, 4 qualified dental nurses, 4 trainee dental nurses, 2 receptionists and a practice manager. The practice has 5 treatment rooms. During the inspection we spoke with 4 dentists, 2 qualified dental nurses, 1 trainee dental nurse, and the practice manager. We looked at practice policies, procedures and other records to assess how the service is managed. We offer same day emergency appointments to our patients. Please ring as early to 9am as possible if you have a dental emergency, and our receptionist will do their best to fit you in that day. We offer emergency evening slots pm Monday-Friday by appointment only. We are also able to accomodate daytime urgent appointments with priority based on severity of issue. The cost of these appointments covers assessment including an x-ray if necessary. Any treatment costs can be determined once assessed.

Wheelchair access is available at this practice. Parking for patients is available on the side of streets no yellow lines. We offer same day emergency appointments to our NHS and independent patients. If you are not registered at the surgery provided you ring as early to 9am as possible the receptionist will do their best to fit you in that day. We can offer dental plans that include 24 hour emergency cover, 2 exams per year, 2 visit to the hygienist per year, all X-rays are included and reduced rates on all treatments.
