Gold is a material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. One of the rarest and most expensive materials in the game. Besides being used for crafting advanced gear, it can also be used to enhance a number of Shards. Gold is extremely expensive; without a discount, a single unit costs 15, G in the store. Crafting it requires 50 units of Mercury and 10 Dark Matter , the latter not being particularly easy to prepare due to the required ingredients. Making it available in the store generally requires that the player 'Dismantles' and then re-makes a unit of Gold. It is significantly cheaper just to buy Hofuds from the store and dismantle them with farmed Alkahest : A Hofud costs 19,G but yields 2 Gold, which would normally cost 30,G. Store-bought Gold Breastplates are another good source of Gold, though this requires the player to craft a fairly mediocre armor rather than an extremely useful sword. Another method to obtain a stable source of Gold is to farm and dismantle Ayamurs dropped by Glashtyn in the Forbidden Underground Waterway , which will yield one Gold per weapon. Dismantling either a Hofud or an Ayamur costs 10 Alkahest. Things get worse when enhancing the Alchemic Bounty Shard to increase the chance of receiving duplicate items during food preparation and crafting, as each of the Rank upgrades requires 9 Gold. Gold also has a rare chance to spawn in blue chests in the Hidden Desert.

Gold is a very rare item which requires 50 Mercury and 10 Dark Matter to craft, and is a random item found from blue chests. This is the best bloodstained gold I made 30 gold in 2 hours with a 98 luck.

I've already looked up some answers, and they say you can find some in chests within the Hidden Desert but i've gotten nothing out of them. Someone said it was craftable but i guess i just don't have the recipe book? Or it was a jape. Regardless I have no clue where to get gold and would appreciate if someone knew what enemies dropped them or if there was someplace else I could find gold? I used to be a common drop in Hidden Desert chests, but that was patched out.
