We loved these giant-sized pebble rocks. It was fun to run around, climb, and get lost amongst these rocks. When we arrived, besides one other family, we had the rocks to ourselves. Great place for kids and adults to let out some energy. Most of the rocks are truly giant-sized so younger kids maybe 4 and under would be limited in climbing or safely being on top of the rocks. Walking around the maze created by the rocks can be enjoyable by all.

It is a small city park with some large rocks you can climb on, over, or around. The drop from the street to the rocky, gravel lot is a pot hole nightmare. Must see. Our family of five enjoyed this natural park very much. Not the best for little kids though. Our 4yo boy is adventurous and capable so he did fine climbing BUT for me, the mom, I was worried the whole We made a quick stop here and took a couple of pics but there was really not much else to do. This is a boulder field on the shoreline of a city park and creek. My 11 year old granddaughter loved this place. Despite being a dinosaur fanatic, this is the place she constantly asked to return to during our stay.

Situated by the river in Glen Rose, this park places you right in the lap of nature. As the name suggests, the park has huge rocks where you can sit for hours together letting the tranquillity of the river water wash over you. The park also has a tot-lot including slides that keep the kids effectively occupied. You will see people enjoy a picnic in the sheltered area of the park.

Situated by the river in Glen Rose, this park places you right in the lap of nature. It is worth your time, especially if you have small children. With her hand in mine we braved the rocks together leaping across countless chasms. We made a quick stop here and took a couple of pics but there was really not much else to do.
