BethINI is a free utility tool that aims to optimize the configuration files for a range of Bethesda games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim , Fallout 4 , and other games from both of these series. The mod works automatically , and its goal is to improve performance and quality. It works by reordering the game's configuration files to optimize performance. It also allows users to tweak files themselves, giving access to more configuration controls and file settings than the vanilla game. In addition, BethINI automatically detects mods installed on devices and makes any changes recommended by the mod's author. The utility grants players access to a wider range of settings than what the standard launcher offers. It also provides users with explanations for all the settings. BethINI was originally designed for the optimization of Bethesda game INI configuration files, and left virtually no room for growth into other games. Bethini Pie completely redefines the application, as it intends to become a configuration editor capable of modifying the configuration settings of any game that utilizes INI files. While out-of-the-box support for any and all games is not currently intended, it provides the ability to add support for any game through the careful assembly of specially designed JSON files.
