Every Roserade has its toxic thorns and razor sharp leaves, apparently. Roselia was once ubiquitous but useless, but its evolution justified the hassle catching them once Roserade finally took center-stage. While not the titan of the type that it once was, Roserade is still a powerful Pokemon that can help out if you're short on Grass Types or want Poison coverage for that one raid every 5 years where Poison is actually optimal. Bullet Seed features high energy generation and poor damage output, making it more preferable for utilizing Roserade's charge moves and applying shield pressure. Razor Leaf is the polar opposite, emphasizing high damage output with STAB at the cost of having the worst energy gains. Poison Jab offers a balance in the middle in terms of both damage output and energy generation, in addition to its Poison-type coverage. Grass Knot and Sludge Bomb require the same 50 energy and deal respectable STAB damage, and either can be chosen depending on the coverage needed.

These days you have other equally fine choices out there like Starmie, Slowking, Gardevoir, Metagross and Gallade, but Espeon holds a special place in my heart due to Gold and Silver nostalgia. First, the key is to level up your Espeon at level 29 or That way your Espeon will learn the Dark Move Bite. This is key towards letting Espeon take down other Psychic Pokemon. It also helps that the move also has a 30 percent chance of causing the Flinch status. This does however mean Espeon will miss out on Confusion and Swift though. What else is worth learning? Well Psychic should be obvious. It can also lower Special Defense. Your third move should be Morning Sun. Any time your Pokemon can learn a healing move, you should strongly consider it. Now we have two attacks and a healing move.
As a Grass-type, access to Weather Ball Fire is quite valuable against other Grass-types, in addition to common Steel Pokemon in this league.

Leaf Storm costs slightly more energy, and is considered a higher risk vs reward play. Dazzling Gleam and Solar Beam demand way too much energy to use consistently. Roserade's offensively-oriented stat-spread leaves it quite vulnerable due to the CP cap of Great League.
