Avanti is a classic holiday restaurant, which combines a beautiful location next to the harbour, with a great menu of both local specialities and international dishes. Families are welcomed and the long list of dishes includes their well-loved pizzas. Huge awnings shade the guests of Restaurant Aquarium against the hot Menorcan sun, as they are brought plate after plate of delicious Mediterranean food. Aquarium, as the name suggests, specialises heavily in seafood. However, they take it quite literally as each table has the quirky addition of a goldfish swimming around in a mini aquarium. You can have a toastie for lunch or lobster stew for dinner, they also cater well for children. Another beautiful marina-side restaurant, Asador ON eGIN deals in hearty meat and potato dishes, excellent squid and outstanding tapas.

Lovely to sit central to the main square at the Marina. We are cheesy garlic bread to start, followed by gorgonzola tortellini and prawn linguine. Gorgeous food. Ended with chocolate brownies. Menorca's earth really makes a difference to the taste of locally grown vegetables - restaurants who can show locally sourced ingredients will stand out in flavour. Cala en Bosch has a very mixed bag of restaurants across all styles and price levels. IMO no standout local cuisine restaurant. Kaypa offers a change with Peruvian. Plenty of fixed price menus and a la carte options. The majority are around the Marina.

Pizzas are especially good. We went for the menu with fix price for starter main and dessert and it was a really good value for money. Now concerned about the chefs cooking capabilities we opted for a veg based pizza to replace the pasta dish which took another 30 mins to arrive. At least they keep it Mediterranean style compared to other places in the area were it's just tourist trap. The outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying the sun and the views. Both meals were ok, nothing too special. I think its the best food in the island. The owner Matthais is a really friendly genuine guy who made us feel very welcome. Slide 1 of 5. I can not fault this place. Asador ON eGIN is a charming restaurant located by the marina that specializes in delicious meat and potato dishes, delightful squid, and remarkable tapas. Real fresh product with very good flavor and healthy meals. The owner Matthais is a really friendly genuine guy who made us feel very welcome. Track your travel spending and split costs with friends. This, combined with the fact that they stayed open an extra half an hour just for us on the first night of our holiday when we were close to starvation they even offered us dessert which we didnt take only because we felt guilty about how late it was earns them a well deserved five stars. Catering to families, their extensive menu includes popular pizzas. Staff were very friendly. We had the best salads and poke bowl there. Fantastic little family run bar with a warm welcome for everyone.
