Ironically, the ladies reboot of the original ended up being unfunny and relying too heavily on gross-out humour. The way it ties into other episodes is pretty neat, though. Yes, the title is dated, to say the least, but if you can forgive that, the episode is a high point of early Sunny. Does that happen? Absolutely not. Frank in a dog cage. Dennis throwing beer. What makes this excellent episode even more remarkable is that it took this long for Sunny to put its clearly deluded characters in therapy.

Given that most of the series takes place inside of a bar, "Chardee MacDennis" may not qualify for "bottle episode" stauts. Concerned about Frank's downward spiral, the gang stages an intervention, but their good intentions quickly go awry. As Mac and Dennis begin to adopt a stereotypical husband and wife role, all the problems that come with it rise to the surface, and soon, they can't stand the boredom.
