Ok so I did end up giving it a try because it was so cheap and so far in the 2 matches I've played I ran into 1 cheater who shot me through a wall.

I wonder if EA has my mail blocked or something, because it's too much work for them to go through my reports. No one is doing nothing because they just want for you to give up and buy the new game. If so that defo makes it harder to combat cheaters, half the reason is not so heavily plagued yet is that the game is still somewhat expensive so more or less the anti cheat approach is keep the price up so trollers can't do much unless they fork some serious cash.
