I'm running batocera 5. I just made 2 collections, a "zelda" and a "mario" collection, all runs fine. It really depends on the theme you use. Most are similar in structure folders etc but not all use the same image formats. Others use SVG which is a vector type image which I've never really have been able to do well. Place your logo image on the logos folder and the backgound in the background folder. After restart it should be ready to go.
