Originally founded by Jack Barton in as a fishing and archery outfitter, Bartons Big Country has continued to grow into a premier supplier of only the best shooting and hunting equipment and supplies in Northern Alberta. Bartons believes in fostering growth through community investment and has always been active in local charity fundraising. As well as our regular charity events, we also sponsor multiple sporting events including Sporting Clay competitions, the Mighty Peace 3 Gun League, and local archery clubs. In March , Mike Davison and Steve Allison recognized the potential for growth into larger markets and acquired the business.
