Really nice place, fresh food, quick service even if it's busy and reasonable prices!! Worth it.

Have you ever had the pleasure of dining at Bar Remo? My cousin Daniel chose this restaurant as the venue of his birthday meal back in May and it was a fantastic choice. The wood fire pizza oven is located on the ground floor where you can see the chefs kneading away at dough for pizzas and pizza breads. The first time I visited in May I had Spaghetti Carbonara which was lovely, however I had a serious case of food envy as my cousin Serena had ordered the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Cheese. Five months later after working late one Friday night ok I went to the pub for a couple too , The Man left work and I suggested dinner to him.

Had a fantastic lunch here. The prices are very reasonable for good food in a good place - 3 mins walk from Oxford Circus. Would definitely return! Delightful gluten free pasta options. Great Italian!!! You need to try it. Thumbs up!

In central London, its difficult to find somewhere to eat that offers value for money but this is is one such gem! There must have been around 16 people in the queue ahead of us but Elsa cheerfully assured us that we would get seated soon and offered us a complimentary glass of chilled white wine. I must say that I usually cant be bothered with queues of any description but a glass of wine certainly took the egde off and in no time at all, we were being shown to our seats downstairs. When I first visited Bar Remo all those years agao, my preferred option was always the baked potato but these days the potatoes are off the menu in favour of a totally Italian menu with a good range of all the staple pizza and pasta dishes and some daily specials. A few of the dishes are even named after Elsa which seems like a loving tribute to a hardworking mother!

The Italian staff rigorously serve freshly prepared dishes. You'll find a full menu including starters, pasta, pizza sourdough and gluten-free options , vegetarian and vegan, meat and seafood all with varying portion sizes to cater for everyone's needs. You'll finish up with real Italian coffee and desserts. Finishing touches with meticulous detail to create a uniquely emotional dining experience. A passionate team of chefs behind the scenes preparing gastronomical delights with traditional methods. The best espresso in London?

I am not quite sure when I became so obsessed with food but at some point I started to appreciate the quality of a good cooked meal. Finishing touches with meticulous detail to create a uniquely emotional dining experience. Cooked right in front of you in a clay oven and very tasty! The tomato sauce had just the right amount of garlic and chilly to add some kick to it, without overpowering the delicate proteins. The food was close to traditional Italian you would get in trattorias. The food is reasonably priced, better than any chain Italian, and genuinely friendly. Share Me! It was fab. Ismay ordered a plate of Vongole- linguine with clams in a white wine sauce and Tina the Salmon. Bryan June 28, Probably the best Italian restaurant in central London. And your manners.

  1. I regret, but I can help nothing. I know, you will find the correct decision. Do not despair.
