For the Evulz : While most of what Ronno does is motivated by his jealous ambition to prove himself Bambi's superior, him rubbing it in Bambi's face that his father "gave him away" to a stepmother was a spiteful and petty act done solely to hit Bambi where it hurt the hardest for his own amusement. When Bambi pursued a romantic relationship with Faline, Ronno stepped in between them, and tried to take Faline with him, but Bambi fought back, and a violent fight erupted between them, since Ronno still wanted Faline as his mate.
